With Whetstone Magazine, a new publication about food origins, we co-host a wide-ranging conversation about food in California: on cooking, growing, and eating it; on organizing around and teaching about it. We'll touch on "California cuisine" as well as indigenous food history, how migration patterns have shaped food ways, and beyond — all followed by a thematically inspired dinner.
